This CD is full of variety. From rock oriented electronica to german school electronic space, to
floating space music. This CD has a little bit of it all. The many different styles of music take the
listener into the many different ATMOSPHERES of electronic music.

A work with a wide variety of sonic experiences, it is a good introduction to Carty in his earlier
period. It contains a couple of excellent spacemusic adventures. Other pieces on the album are
rhythmic, with some strong and a few weaker tracks. It gives a taste of his earlier more-melodic,
rock-influence style (also heard on Soulscape, another fine album), Which is not as emotionally
passionate or deep-spacey as everything he's done from NaturaL Wonder onward, but which has
some interesting, lighter and engaging sounds which you don't often hear in his later works.

"Atmospheres" is an electronic tribute to nature and her ability to calm listeners. Robert Carty
introduces those calming effects by putting the listeners on the edge with some piercing techno
experimental electronica. Robert kicks in with his ambient synth and samplers to provide the
relaxation. This album walks the fine line between new age and electronica. This is another
strong effort from Robert.
