This is a CD that reminds one of the high qualities of life. The synthesizer sounds are lush and
ethereal. The flute is a Native American flute, but it is put through a harmony processor which
gives it a sound very earthy and yet otherworldly as well. The photographs for the CD were taken
at the Grand Canyon. All in all, this is very rich, melodic, beautiful ambient music.  From the opening track to the ending track, this is a music to enhance the meditative qualities of high places. Highly recommended!

This was the first of his enormously bountiful crop of later releases starting in 1996, and the first
to feature an abundance of vibrato sounds. As the title suggests, this albums aims for the
heights of spiritual, meditative experience, both within the realm of the senses  and beyond. The
pieces are all in the slow, quiet and relaxing spacemusic genre, and sumptiously arranged as usual
with some enchanting vibrato and luscious sound effects. As soon as it starts to play, you know you
are listening to profound stuff, but it only gets better as it goes along, leading the listener higher
and deeper to realms of sacred peace of heart. This CD is specially soothing and relaxing to the soul.

Robert Carty's synth is absolutely choral on "High Meditations." This is cool desert ambience at
its best. Robert has entered a new zone. The imagery evoked here is desert ambience but it is not
a dry and hot landscape. The images are more of a barren field, perhaps of a tundra. The  soundscape
is colorful and barren at the same time. The atmosphere is dark and airy. The serenity is ultimate.
