This is a very upbeat CD. The didgeridoo and drum programming move right along with one another.
There are some great melodies in this music, and the track Dreaming features the sounds of the ocean
waves recorded on the coast of Washington. If your into didgeridoo then you'll enjoy this one. |

No one blends the didgeridoo sound into a musical mix as satisfyng and enjoyable as Carty does. You
don't even notice the rough edges of the dig sound on this one, even as it vitalizes all the other sounds
with powerful rhythmic drones. The third or middle piece is a floating oasis between the other
rhythmic tracks, which are all closely related and similar in style. Despite the exotic didgeridoo sound,
this is a very typical upbeat Carty album; a relaxing, vibrant, imaginative journey through the sacred
realms of the Earth Mother.

"My Earth Touches Me" is Robert Carty's tribute to the Dreamtime and his homage to the tribal primal
roots of Aboriginal music. Robert augments his synth and didg with ethnic percussion. The depth and
soul of this CD are limitless. If Robert is not a shaman, his spirit certainly is.
