Spanish space music is a good way to describe this CD. A nylon string guitar sound is
the basis for the pieces on this CD with beautiful synthesizer tones as well. The music was
inspired by the reading of Carlos Castaneda's books, thus the title "Nagual Heart". Beautiful and
very unique, this CD will make a great edition to anyones space music CD collection. A deep CD

Formerly called Spanish Spaces, this CD is another masterpiece. The Spanish guitar gives new
wings to Carty's compositional abilities. These pieces are tightly constructed and often convey the
moody atmosphere of Moorish Spain. Nagual is spanish for wizard or magical companion. The
entire album is stupendous, with both moderately fast and slow, quiet pieces.

"Nagual Heart" features Robert Carty in the flamenco ambience zone. His acoustic guitar is at the
forefront of this melodramatic soundscape. Robert has ventured into a rarely explored and even
more rarely nailed sub-genre of ambience. Robert nailed this one while also inventing Flamenco
space music! This highly original set features deep space music surrounded by nylon guitars and
sci-fi minimalist synths. Robert is a unique original. His diversity is pushing the ceiling upwards.
